Are you having difficulty getting to sleep? Is your sleep interrupted during the night and you can’t get back to sleep quickly and easily? Do you waken too early or feel tired all day long? If so, you may be suffering from a sleep disorder.
Sleep disorders have a variety of underlying causes. Sometimes it is simply a result of poor sleep hygiene. There are also a wide range of emotional, physical, and medical problems that can cause sleep disorders.
If your sleep problem is a result of poor hygiene, then sometimes all it takes to get your sleep back to normal is changing your sleep habits, sleep environment, or sleep routine. This sounds simple and it is, but most people have a hard time changing their routines and habits!
Counselling can help you assess and treat your sleep problem by providing a comprehensive sleep assessment and treatment plan. Sleeping better is always possible, if you know what to do.
